Synopsis
Jack Monroe has kept a dark secret for twenty-five years, since the night his high school girlfriend, Eileen Delaney, vanished after a summer lake house party.
Now a prominent New York City neurosurgeon dating a beautiful network news anchor, he leads a privileged life.
But that all changes after an unexpected visit by his former employer, mafia boss Jimmy Gigante. Gigante is seeking help for his daughter, Connie who has a brain tumor, drawing Jack back into a murky past he thought he had left behind.
Jack had dated Connie prior to the arrival of Eileen at their high school and she is privy to the secret, and the guilt, which have tormented him.
When breaking news, released during Jack's twenty-fifth high school reunion, reveals that Eileen's body has been discovered submerged in an abandoned rock quarry, Jack's perfect life descends into chaos.
Evidence points to Jack and an unscrupulous DA indicts him for murder, setting off a chain of events that leaves Jack and those closest to him scrambling for their lives as they are pursued by powerful, ruthless adversaries.
