Synopsis

Phillip is a funny little bird who goes everywhere with his friend, Sofia, in her backpack. He is always ready for his next big adventure, but his mischievous behavior and inability to understand rules and situations, seem to consistently land him in unforeseen trouble! Phillip finds himself at the Library, where instead of his normal playground antics, he must sit still and not make any noise! The Librarian, Mrs. Shhh, has rules that must be followed, and when Phillip disobeys the signs to "Be Quiet and Shush", he finds himself in BIG trouble! "Phillip Must Hush" is a cute lesson on rule following, owning up to your mistakes and, in the end, missing someone you love when you are alone and ready for an adventure gone wrong to end.

The young reader will enjoy Phillip's funny, playful personality in this rhyming book as well as the ability to engage with the storyline by getting to tell Phillip he must "SHHH" through the use of a cute, repetitive refrain page throughout the story.

"Phillip Must Hush" is the first book in the series, "Phillip's Backpack Adventures".  Watch for Phillip's next big adventure coming soon!
