Synopsis

When the EMPs hit, everything shut down, people disappeared, and what was left behind constantly threatens to fall into chaos. Someone has to stand up against the incessant push towards depravity and fight to help others through it as well.

This would be much easier if everyone felt the same way, but the town is divided into three areas, each part run by a very different person. The gangster, Lalonda, has most of Main Street and the surrounding area. The Sheriff has most of the center of town, and further south. Then there is the Hillside, which is mostly houses located towards the north.

This new world is a hard place, but the leader of the Hillside, Raylene Weber, is determined to make it the best it can be, despite those who would try to make things more complicated. Will anyone fight by her side?

About this title

About the Author

Rachel is first a daughter of Yah, wife to an Army veteran turned pastor, a homeschooling mother to three amazing arrows, and now a published author. She fills her days with life on the homestead or supporting her husband in ministry, and when possible, late hours at the keyboard. Rachel's writing journey began with a love for the written word and a well-used library card, leading to the creation of several short stories in her youth. Moving forward to the year 2016, the journey with her current story began with a vivid dream that left her with an incredible desire to see where it could lead. Her hope is that through these stories, others may be inspired to view the world from a different perspective.
