Synopsis
For the undead warriors of The Call, existence itself is a crime, their service to the sinister lords of Enostran, a punishment. Those who disobey are swiftly destroyed, and the warriors of The Call tend to their own.
Izrak Laav, a veteran mercenary of many long centuries, is tasked with the destruction of one such rogue warrior.
Last seen in the forest realm of Shuvo, Izrak follows the renegade’s trail, where a chance encounter with Elishei, a mysterious girl on the run, thrusts Izrak into a harrowing adventure to rescue the girl from her shadowed pursuers. Yet, the mercenary holds a dark secret that threatens the life of the one he seeks to protect. Izrak’s intentions are unclear, and an old power intervenes. Resisted by an ancient spirit, Izrak must confront the ghosts of his past crimes, and face truths meant to teach the mercenary one final lesson: that there are punishments even the dead may fear….
