He has authored several reference books on Morgan dollars and published a quarterly newsletter for 10 years (A Decade of Top 100 Insights), but is perhaps best known as a co-author with his mentor silver dollar expert, Jeff Oxman, for "The Top 100 Morgan Dollar Varieties: The VAM Keys." Fey has received many numismatic awards, has been a speaker at major numismatic national conventions.
