Synopsis

A nod to simpler times; get lost in Ann's tales as she explores a twenty-year chapter of her life from 1943 to 1963.

A time when the world changed rapidly, yet in Tioga, Louisiana, just a dot on the map today, the slower pace was purposeful. Nearly eighty years after her birth, Ann reflects on her memories in short anecdotes to engage the reader and take them back to a time that was.

Ann's unique writing bring to life her memories of those times. Every story is sure to elicit a smile, maybe a tear, and certainly a reminder of someone in your family. Perhaps it offers a glimpse into a grandparent, a parent, a beloved aunt or uncle, maybe even yourself.

That's the beauty of sharing stories and finding pleasure in reading this book. Life goes fast. Take a few minutes to enjoy a simpler time.
