After retiring from clinical practice, Heidi pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a children's book author. She has since written and self-published seven books, including her celebrated *Sparkly Smiles Series*-a delightful collection of engaging and educational dental stories designed to inspire young readers. When she's not writing or teaching, Heidi enjoys life on her small farm in Connecticut with her husband, Joe (a talented barber), their two spoiled dogs, and five playful goats.
