Synopsis

Just Glow is a profoundly impactful memoir that provides readers with an unfiltered look at the turmoil and devastation of war, even long after the immediate aftermath has faded. It also delves into the enduring grief that accompanies the loss of comrades and how that sorrow permeates the lives of those who still remain.

Quotes

"In an honest and heartfelt voice, Augusto provides the reader with insight into the brotherhood in the military, and the importance of the bonds that exist. He illustrates the journey of the human spirit and love that surges from these bonds, despite the tragedy of war."

Gary Sturgis, Grief Specialist and Author of: SURVIVING GRIEF - 365 Days A Year

“This memoir is written so well and is a page turner despite the heavy subject…He writes with honesty and a fresh perspective. I like his focus on how important caring for one’s mental health is, why grief needs to be addressed so it can be healed.”
