Synopsis
Two friends explore the wonders of the night sky and learn the meaning of courage, community action, and friendship in a new STEAM adventure.
Kaleidoscope Club besties, Nour and August, plan a nighttime meteor shower watch party in their club garden. Excited to map constellations and see shooting stars using their new telescope, they research astronomy, build a space capsule, and even organize a dark-sky campaign to reduce harmful light pollution in their community.
As they convince businesses to turn off their lights a traveling fair arrives, presenting new challenges to their friendship. But when a new friend that Nour wasn’t sure about saves their stargazing party, the Kaleidoscope Club friends learn that growing up means making room for new adventures and people.

About the Author
Marie Mazas is a freelance editor and writer who has worked with many publishers including Nathan, Hachette and Bayard. She has created many popular picture books, chapter books and activity books for children. Her work often celebrates nature and ecological themes. She lives in Paris, France.
Joëlle Passeron started illustrating books at a very young age. A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure Estienne, she also teaches illustration. She lives in Paris, France.
