Synopsis

Stations Along My Train of Thought is a collection of poems—it's also an intimate journey through the raw, unfiltered emotions of life. From the highs of love and connection to the depths of heartbreak, depression, and self-reflection, this book attempts to capture the human experience in its most vulnerable form.

Written over several years, these poems served as a personal outlet during times of isolation, grief, and discovery. Each station in this collection represents a different phase of growth, inviting readers to travel through their own reflections on love, loss, and self-empowerment. With each word, Parker bares his soul, offering not just verses but pieces of a life lived with intensity and introspection.

Whether you find yourself in moments of gratitude, struggling with depression, or simply seeking a voice that echoes your own, Stations Along My Train of Thought offers a poignant reminder that even in the darkest times, there is beauty in being honest with yourself.

About the Author

Parker Tillman is a poet whose work explores love, loss, identity, and the nuances of personal growth. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he values family, integrity, and self-reflection. His journey with poetry began in high school but truly took root at Northwood University, where he won a poetry competition for his piece When I Lost You (KISS). After a five-year hiatus, Parker returned to his craft, completing Stations Along My Train of Thought, a collection reflecting on his turbulent college years. Through his words, he invites readers to join him on a journey of self-discovery and reflection. Beyond poetry, Parker is an athlete, real estate investor, and hopes to write children's books on financial literacy and ethics, helping young readers understand important concepts early in life.
