Synopsis

A Children's rhyming picture book. A young Skeleton feels it was made for caring and not scaring. It sets out on a journey to rediscover Its smile. When it tries to escape having to scare children by hiding in a church, it meets an Angel. The Angel tells of the love God has for the young Skeleton. But the Skeleton worries that it couldn't be true for It has been really mean, and "God is everywhere, so I know that He's seen." But the Angel shows it that through Jesus we are forgiven. The target audience for this book is children ages 3 to 8.

About the Author

Chars began writing fiction in 1983, inspired by the books he read. Chars attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television and Film Directing. Chars worked as an actor, producer and director for film, writing the majority of the projects he worked on. With his Catholic faith being such a large part of his thoughts and being, Chars tries to use his stories to make the world better. Chars began to pursue writing his stories to be published, rather than writing screenplays, in 2021.
