Calling all married (or partnered!) expats and travelers! Nobody ever said being an expat was easy, but navigating exciting (and maybe just a liiiiitle bit frustrating) new cultures while trying to keep your relationship strong and healthy?
That's kicking things up a notch.
But never fear!
Ashlinn and Adam are two lovebirds who got hitched and decided to move to a new country three months later. With over 42 counties visited at the time of writing and 5 of those called home (defined as living in-country for at least two years), these two are no strangers to the joys and trials of relationships built and maintained in less familiar waters.
Divided into strategy and tactics, inside this book you'll find the fruit of years of relationship and travel experience for expats (or aspiring expats!) who either are or hope to be in a happy, healthy relationship!
What you'll find inside:
- How to build a relationship that can stand the test of any new culture or environment
- How to navigate & address some of the most common questions that arise in expat relationships
- How to manage relationships with your family and friends back home
...and much, much more!
You will not find legal, tax, visa, or relocation advice within these pages, but you will find thoughtful, humorous (hopefully) reflections and pieces of advice on building and navigating your own cross-cultural utopian relationship. Just remember to keep in mind our motto:
Utopia: a place where everything is perfect.
Also utopia: a place that doesn't exist.
