Larry Buege is a retired physician assistant who lives with his wife along the southern shore of Lake Superior. His literary work has won both regional and international awards. He writes in a variety of genres although his Chogan Native American Series is most popular. The Native American Series follows an Ojibway family in the year 100 B.C. (Before Columbus). In addition to the short stories and novels, the author has been a frequent contributor to Primative Technology magazine.The Native American series is unique in that each novel has references to six to eight stand-alone websites with color photos that demonstrate skills Chogan must learn to survive in the virgin forest.
