Synopsis

When cancer blindsides your birthday & brings a wake of devastation, can life be beautifully pieced back together?

The last thing Tanya Motorin had time for on her birthday was a phone call from her doctor. She and her husband were neck-deep preparing to move their family three states away in just a matter of days. Pulling the packing tape across another box, she picked up the phone half expecting a birthday greeting in the midst of their move. Instead, her doctor gave her a gut-punch of a present: she had breast cancer…

Part memoir, part “how-to” guide, Tanya vulnerably tells her story—from diagnosis to surgery, treatment to recovery. She bravely shares how God mended the broken pieces on a road she never wanted to walk. Covered: My Breast Cancer Story & Practical Insight for Yours turns havoc into hope through practical tips and recommendations for women facing a similar diagnosis, and a framework for family and friends who are in the fight with them.

Walk with her to discover:

• How to have hard conversations after a heavy diagnosis
• Where God is present in the midst of suffering
• Tips for building a supportive “A-Team”
• Creative ways to process through the emotional side of cancer
• Beauty, health, and wellness resources for comfort and care

In spite of the hardship, story, humor, and faith in God gently bind up each broken piece into a beautiful picture of overcoming all that was lost. Covered: My Breast Cancer Story & Practical Insight for Yours will bring clarity and comfort to women battling breast cancer and those who love them.
