Synopsis

Little Caterpillar has become so sad with himself and his dark and dreary world deep in the woods. Always having to look up at the world around him and feeling such a smallness in himself, he is discouraged to the point of being a discourager to others he meets. After many kind words from many kind forest friends, he still feels sorry for himself. Then, he is transformed into a thing of beauty and splendor...yet still sees himself as a Little Caterpillar. Follow along as Little Caterpillar comes to see himself differently, as God has made him...and his whole life changes! Beautifully illustrated in a classical style by Joshua Wichterich. A simple bedtime story, or a powerful metaphor for changing the heart and minds of all who doubt themselves, Better Fly Butterfly speaks to those who will listen, AND HEAR! Each time you share or read Better Fly Butterfly, you may discover woven into the illustrations are subtle images that tell another story...the story of Christ and 2 Corinthians 5:17. My prayer is that God will use this book to bless many.

About the Authors

JimHKelley is a retired Christian free-market capitalist who did a little bit of everything in his work career...from building a multi-unit barbecue restaurant chain to traveling the country as a facilitator/trainer. He once designed a corner commode, was a part-time chimney sweep to help pay the bills, has had a nervous breakdown and two practice wives, went bankrupt once, was local businessman of the year once, and has held as many as three jobs at once to put food on the table. His love has always been creating something from nothing and serving others as a result of doing that! During his 50+ years of working he started several businesses, most that never made it...but enough that did! Jim is married to his precious widdle wedded wife, Jean and is living out his dream on the banks of the Tennessee River.
