About the Authors

Mari Fitz-Wynn is a nonfiction author, novelist, poet, and songwriter. She is a much sought-after speaker whose talents have carried her across the globe. Her works include Take Heart: 26 Steps to a Healthy Home School, Connect the D.O.T.S., collection RISE UP! Poems of Protest, Poems of Praise, her debut poetry.

Kathy Khang is a contributing author of More Than Serving Tea (IV Press, 2006) and Voices of Lament (Revell, 2022). In October, her next co-authored with Matt Mikalatos, Loving Disagreement, will be released. Ms. Khang is the board chair for Christians for Social Action, co-host of The Fascinating Podcast, and board member of the Northwestern University Asian and Asian American Alumni (A-5) Club. Before spending more than two decades in campus ministry, Ms. Khang was a newspaper reporter in Green Bay and Milwaukee, WI. She focused on leadership development and training leaders in diversity and justice. She holds a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. She is based in the north suburbs of Chicago.

Leah Morrison is an artist/illustrator. She holds a BFA in Illustration fromKendall College of Art and Design, and brings her love of nature andpeople into all of her work, from children's books to fantasy novelsto book covers. HLeah lives with her husband and children in Grand Rapids
