The Barking Tree is the tail or rather, tale of the loving relationship between a puppy and his beloved tree. It is the perfect book for any pet parent to read to their dog or puppy, for volunteers to read to dogs and puppies at shelters and for parents to read to their children.
The same values instilled in The Giving Tree about self-sacrifice and giving are very much present in The Barking Tree.
