About the Authors

Mitzi Williams DPM, FACFAS is a pediatric foot and lower extremity surgeon who specializes in congenital deformities. Dr. Williams and her colleague, Dr. Scott Kaiser, direct the Pediatric and Infant Foot Deformity Clinic at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California.She is an attending surgeon at the SF Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. Dr. Williams is internationally recognized for her expertise in treating pediatric foot and lower extremity deformities.She has extensive experience in treating clubfoot, vertical talus, metatarsus adductus, tarsal coalitions, pediatric flatfoot, and numerous other congenital foot conditions. Dr. Williams also routinely treats pediatric injuries.

Ginger Nielson is a full time children's book author/illustrator. She lives in northern New England at the top of a hill, near the edge of a forest. There is a magic wand on her desk and a dragon in her basement. Everything else is nearly normal. She has illustrated over 70 children's picture books.
