Synopsis

This collection of poems traces the journey from childhood to adolescence and early adulthood, exploring innocence, transformation, and the complexities of growing up. The poems give voice to the silenced stories of child brides while reflecting on God, spirituality, and the search for the transcendent absolute reality. Interwoven with social commentary, the verses move between tenderness and critique, vulnerability and strength. Each poem offers a window into personal reflection and experience, inviting readers to pause, feel, and question.

About the Author

Bhavya Bajpai is a student pursuing a degree in B.A. L.L.B. and Company Secretary (CS) studies. She comes from a family who had little association with writing apart from her Late Grandfather, she recently discovered a deep affinity for poetry, which has since become a cherished avenue of expression. Besides writing, she plays the sitar, allowing her creativity to find resonance across different forms of Arts. What began as a quite experiment with words has now become a way for her to ponder upon her emotions and experiences. For her, writing remains a reflective and personal pursuit-an exploration of thoughts and observations alongside her academic journey.
