Synopsis

Anant, a struggling novelist, retreats to Khajuraho in search of inspiration, urged by his publisher and closest friend, Maya. But what begins as a creative escape soon spirals into something far more disturbing. He starts seeing visions of an enigmatic woman—so vivid, so real, that she consumes his every thought. As he writes, she becomes the central character of his novel, but his love for her feels more than just fiction. Caught in a web of obsession, Anant slowly loses his grip on reality, unable to tell what is real and what is simply a creation of his own mind.

His descent into madness deepens when he discovers an old journal from a British officer, filled with accounts of a lost statue and eerie experiences that mirror his own. As the boundaries between fiction and reality dissolve, Anant is drawn into an ancient mystery that threatens his sanity—and his life.

Will he uncover the truth before it’s too late? Or will Maya be the only one who can pull him back from the brink of insanity?

A gripping psychological thriller that blurs the line between imagination and madness, love and illusion—where the most dangerous stories are the ones we create.
