About the Author

May Gillham and her husband, Don, lived and raised their four children on a farm in Capay Valley, California. They raised almonds, walnuts, alfalfa hay, and chickens for their eggs at different times. May enjoys gardening, reading, and teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Over the years, she has written short stories and devotionals for her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and several plays for VBS.
