Over the years, from time to time, Jehovah's Witnesses have stopped by the house. Once, two Witnesses came by during a busy Christmas season. Being preoccupied, I invited them to come back another time. One of them did, he came back twice. Both times, after I'd invited him inside to chat, something unrelated came up that required me, with an apology, to end his visit prematurely. Following the second interruption, I agreed to meet with him again, after the holidays had passed. His commitment was admirable, it inspired me to do some research in expectation of his return.
He never did return, but that research is the foundation of this book. It is based on biblical texts, supported at times by excerpts borrowed from historic Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. The book demonstrates beyond a doubt that Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God.
In the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (NWT), the translations of these Greek and Hebrew excerpts are not correct. They have been altered, changed in ways which make it seem as if Jesus was created. The author of the NWT, the Watchtower Bible, and Tract Society (Watchtower Society), justifies the alteration of these translations by alleging the early second century church changed their meanings, and as altered, they convey what was originally intended. The book proves not only that this Watchtower Society allegation is without merit, but shows how impossible what it alleges would have been for the early church to undertake and accomplish.
The NWT has been revised several times over the years. Many of these revisions include changes the Watchtower Society made to its own doctrine! It has done so, all the while, proclaiming itself to be Jehovah God's true prophet. The irreconcilable problem here for the Watchtower Society is that God's truth does not change. A true prophet of Jehovah knows this and would never change what that prophet previously declared had come from God.
If you will, kindly pray for spiritual discernment and then read the book.
