Synopsis
विद्युत उपकेन्द्र • उपकेन्द्र अनेक प्रकार के और अनेक आकार में होते हैं, लेकिन इन सब में तीन बातें सम्मिलित होती हैं – • (1) – प्राइमरी (33 केवी इनकमिंग) साइड • (2) – सेकेन्डरी (11 केवी आउट गोइंग) साइड • (3) - पावर ट्रांसफार्मर सामान्य रूप से किसी उपकेन्द्र की क्षमता उसके ट्रांसफार्मर की क्षमता पर निर्भर करती है । चुने गये स्थान के अलावा उपकेन्द्र एक ऐसी यूनिट होती है जिसमें उपरोक्त तीनों सम्मिलित होते हैं और उपकेन्द्र की लागत हर एक संरचना पर निर्भर करती हैं । विस्तार व्यवस्था – अगर कोई उपकेन्द्र अनेक ट्रांसफार्मर लगाने के लिए प्लान किया जाता है तो उसकी क्षमता चरणबद्ध तरीके से जरूरत पड़ने पर बढ़ाई जा सकती है । दूसरी 33 केवी लाइने भी पूर्व के 33 केवी बस की तरफ से लाई जाती हैं, जिससे उनका समुचित उपयोग किया जा सके
