作者为春秋时祖籍齐国乐安的吴国将军孙武。孙武(约公元前545-前470),字长卿,中国春秋时期齐国乐安(今山东省北部)人,是吴国将领。著名军事家、政治家。

About the Author
Sun Wu (c. 545-470 BC), courtesy name Changqing, was a native of Le'an in the State of Qi (present-day northern Shandong Province) during China's Spring and Autumn period and served as a general for the State of Wu. He was a renowned military strategist and statesman. He once led the Wu army to a decisive victory over the forces of the State of Chu, capturing Chu's capital, Ying, and bringing the state of Chu to the brink of total destruction.孙武(约公元前545-前470),字长卿,中国春秋时期齐国乐安(今山东省北部)人,是吴国将领。著名军事家、政治家。曾率领吴国军队大破楚国军队,占领了楚的国都郢城,几乎灭亡楚国。
