Entre Los Libros. Colección de Poesias 2. 1983-1990 es de mis años universitarios. Es una faceta nueva. En algunas formas, un nuevo yo surgió. En algunas formas, el yo antiguo nunca se alejó. Mis años universitarios fue donde hice y perdí tantas amistades, el amor y hasta yo misma. Pero gracias a todos mis amigos, mis años universitarios es donde y cuando me sentí más reconocida y respetada por la gente a mi alrededor.
La universidad me dio el conocimiento de los temas que aprendía en cada clase y pensé que ese conocimiento no se derramaba a mi vida diaria fuera de la escuela. Sin embargo, viendo hacia atrás, con todas las pérdidas, vacíos y trastornos, encontré mi fuerza, valentía, determinación y propósito.

About the Author
Nací en la Ciudad de México en 1963. En enero de 1973, emigré y me reuní con mi familia en el Valle Central de California. Asistí a la escuela primaria y secundaria en Atwater, el colegio comunitario en Merced y la universidad en Turlock California.Oficialmente, empecé a escribir en español a la edad de14 años. Empecé a escribir en inglés en mis años universitarios y poco después, empecé a traducir mi propio trabajo en los dos idiomas.
