Synopsis
This is the story of Lorry Lewis, whose mother sends him to a Cleveland orphanage when he is eleven. Lorry eventually rides the rails across the country to Portland, then down to Los Angeles, encountering one sordid experience after another. Through Lorry, we are given a glimpse into the seamy side of life in late 1920s America…
