Pascal Bokar Thiam, Ed.D. is on faculty in the Performing Arts & Social Justice Department of the University of San Francisco and the Music Department of City College of San Francisco, CA. He has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Donald Byrd, Donald Bailey, Donald Brown etc...His CD Guitar Balafonics received Downbeat Magazine "One of the Best CDs of the Year" Award. The British Press Essex TV calls him the "Father of the AfroBlueGrazz Sound" exemplified in his new CD titled American Trails.
