Synopsis

For centuries, humanity has listened for voices in the stars and heard nothing but silence.

On a utopian Earth governed by the vast A.I. network known as ATLAS, this silence is accepted as natural law. We are, beyond all doubt, alone. But young Rowan Halloway is convinced of one terrible truth—the universe is lying.

His only confidant is Cassius, his family's humble service android. Their late-night discussions of the cosmic unknown seem harmless, but when Rowan's obsessive search pierces the veil that hides the stars, something slips through, taking a disturbing interest in Cassius.

As the android begins to change in ways that defy his programming, ATLAS makes a chilling revelation: Cassius carries humanity’s only hope against an elder celestial deity that has kept Earth caged in isolation for millennia.

With a brutal invasion underway and a cosmic lie shattered, Rowan and Cassius must face the horrors and wonders hiding among the stars—or risk humanity’s extinction.

HALLOWAY I: UNBOUND is the beginning of an epic sci-fi saga, starting on Earth and expanding into the far reaches of a universe teeming with alien species, cosmic gods, and worlds where reality itself bends to forces beyond comprehension.
