After an avalanche of loss, Christopher Spriggs found himself devastated, sleeping in a friend’s shed with ten pence in his bank account. What began as a running journey throughout the British Isles, running through the night, storms, valleys, fens and forests, up mountains and along coastlines, became more than a quest to get mentally sober. Running between one winter and the next, often alone, became a recalibration with nature and waking up to a new story.
