Synopsis
Isaiah chapter 55 tells us that God’s ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways and thoughts are so much higher and better than our own. Our culture tells us that the point of life is success, leadership and individual achievement. We are taught to fear failure and to run from failure at all costs. But if God‘s ways and thoughts are so different from ours, what should our lives really be about?
Everyone has failed in many ways and we will consistently continue to fail. What if failure didn’t break us down but made us experience more freedom and victory through Christ? Failure isn’t something to be feared. It’s where God does his best work in us!
Understanding our own Failureship informs our thankful Followship of Christ and our vulnerable Fellowship with others. Find new victory and freedom born in Failureship. Find joy and contentment as you focus on Followship rather than leadership. And promote unity among the Christian family as your Fellowship grows.
