While my son (born early at 24 weeks) was enduring his NICU stay, one thing that made the NICU journey less difficult was speaking words of life and limitless possibilities over his health. Every word I spoke over my son at that time, became so. Even on the hard days, at the beginning, where he had to endure blood transfusions and he was barely able to breath inside his incubator, my words of affirmations and prayers were the only connection I had to him being that I couldn't hold him for the first 3 months of his life.

Fast forward almost two years later and I have a healthy, thriving, growing toddler that's a direct reflection of every word I spoke over him and to him. He has caught up in size (actually pretty tall for his age group), and is showing us every day the power behind loving words, even when our current circumstances are difficult.
