Embark on an Inspiring Tale of Resilience and Rebirth Amidst Ireland's Charm
Discover a heartwarming saga of resilience, love, and rebirth in Dr. Jac Fitzenz's The Shanahans Full House. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the 2008 financial crisis, this third novel in the Shanahans Trilogy: Mike's Last Chance and Growing Pains, continues the journey of Mike Fitzpatrick, an Irish-American writer from Boston, who faces life's harshest trials. Stripped of his job, home, and family, Mike's story transforms from one of despair to hope when he takes advantage of an opportunity offered by his friend Padraig Shanahan in the picturesque town of Waterford, Ireland.
In Waterford, Mike finds not just solace but a new lease on life. Engaged to Padraig's daughter, Maureen, he embarks on a series of adventures with the Shanahan family. They bravely rebuild their business after a hurricane, outmaneuver a threatening plot against their whiskey business, and nurture two abandoned children. Mike's involvement in the establishment of Ireland's first national science institute marks a pivotal moment in his journey of self-discovery and integration into a new community.
Fitzenz, a master storyteller, weaves a narrative rich with Irish culture, highlighting the unyielding spirit of a family in the face of adversity.
