Synopsis
Dr. Amalthea O'Shea is a freelance archaeologist. Achieving her doctorate at the age of 23, she learned the hard way that not all ideas are accepted by the academic community and have consequences. Having been shunned by most of the academic community and continuing her career, she is now 39 years old and feels she needs more out of life than freelance archaeology. Her life takes a turn when she crosses paths with an old friend and colleague researching time travel and building his own time machine. Convincing her to take the plunge, she finds herself being thrown back in time to Victorian England and must find a way to get home again.
