Synopsis

"from the peace of the ocean, to the turmoil of the bedroom"

In this deeply illuminating and intimate second collection of poetry, Ritwik Dhandhi discovers the beautiful feelings of an innocent true love that emerged out of something unexpected, some friendships so fulfilling that it changed how he views those relationships, sense of strong community that made him feel like he belongs to something bigger than himself, a first crush and all the rush that comes with that tender emotion, finding calm in family - both real and found, paired with soul-crushing feelings of loss and heartbreak that push him through another coming of age.

At once enlightening, vivid, and constructed so carefully around the themes we all go through in our lives, these poems encapsulate the experience of finding joy and peace when you're surrounded by turmoil.
