Synopsis
With Boyd convalescing at home after his operation, and DS Minter preparing for his Inspector’s exam, CID Hastings is woefully under-manned.
So, when the body of a young man is found hanging from a tree – an apparent suicide, and a house is burned down killing a wheelchair-bound old woman, it’s down to DC Okeke to handle the two cases.
