Synopsis
“The Paradox of Sleep” is a coinage by revelation from three verses of the Bible that talk about sleep paradoxically. The first verse, Psalm 121:4 informs us that God does not, and will never sleep nor slumber; the second, Psalms 127:2 tells us that God gives the same sleep, which He does not sleep, to his beloved while Proverbs 20:13 warns us not to love the same sleep God gives to us.
The author investigates God’s mysterious gift of sleep and explains what makes it to generate such a paradox, in that God, the Giver of sleep, Himself, does not sleep but gives it to His beloved, in addition to warning us not to love the same gift of sleep. God’s reaction to sleep, as explained in this book, will help you evaluate your sleepiness to avoid you abusing sleep and the consequences that follow.
