Synopsis

You have breast cancer.

Four words that will change your life forever.

When Child Protective Services Supervisor Sadey Davis is diagnosed with breast cancer, it turns her world upside down. After multiple surgeries, hospital stays and treatments she doesn’t particularly like, Sadey feels like her life is finally back to normal again. Well, as normal as it could be when your body will never feel the same again, and the people she loves the most have no idea how to help her navigate this time in her life.
But normal is a word that has never described Sadey’s life. The Governor is begging her for help, and her dad’s past threatens to kill everyone she loves. When she loses someone very close to her, dealing with the loss consumes her in a way she hasn’t felt since the loss of her grandmother. With five kids keeping her life in chaos, she must make some hard decisions. Holding them tight and keeping them safe is her job as a mom. But can she do that with her current life choices? Will she have to give up the thing that has always defined her to be the person she needs to be?
