Synopsis

For over twenty years, college-aged men in the United States have disappeared after a night of drinking, only to be found dead days later in bodies of water. Local authorities have determined many of these water deaths to be accidental. However, evidence exists that indicates many of these dead young men did not die by accident but were actually abducted, held for a period of time, murdered, and then deposited in bodies of water with the intent to deceive local authorities into believing the young men accidentally drowned. These types of deaths, all fitting the same modus operandi, are commonly referred to as the Smiley Face Killings based upon graffiti often found near the scene of the crime.

Who are the smiley face killers?

Why are they committing these murders?

What is the modus operandi for possible perpetrators?

Are the Smiley Face killings still happening?

How many possible victims are there?

Is there an occult meaning to the Smiley Face symbol?

Why are the authorities ignoring these crimes?

The new book The Smiley Face Killers: Investigating Suspicious Water Deaths of College-Aged Men in the U.S. and the World by author William Ramsey will answer these questions and more.
