The Inspiration for Fearless & Star
This children's book is a joint presentation of two Kitten Stories. "Fearless the Cat" is about a can-do kitten who came from nowhere to adopt its Storyteller. By constantly hanging around the author's residence, the homeless cat chose to endear him. The kitty's cavalier personality and fearless escapades charmed the fabler, so he couldn't deny the little guy's need for a place to be nurtured and cared for.
The second story, "Where's Star" is an intriguing tale about the creative things young kids imagine, believe, or suspect about possible feline playmates. Does their need for such companionship unlock an invisible world, and is it possible they're more than imaginary creations? If we listen to our children's so-called make-believe legends or yarns, we'll find a new truth concerning children's hearts, minds, spirits, and imaginations.
