College Physics, Part 1 is the first volume in a two-textbook series tailored to aid learners studying non-calculus-based physics. Beginning with an emphasis on understanding physics problems and the application of the scientific method, the book solidifies foundational concepts with an introductory module. This includes discussion of physical quantities, units, significant figures, dimensional analysis, and the principles underlying kinematics, including freefall.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - College Physics, Part 1 is the first volume in a two-textbook series tailored to aid learners studying non-calculus-based physics. Beginning with an emphasis on understanding physics problems and the application of the scientific method, the book solidifies foundational concepts with an introductory module. This includes discussion of physical quantities, units, significant figures, dimensional analysis, and the principles underlying kinematics, including freefall.Subsequent sections of the book explore vectors and scalars, the laws of motion, and energy, providing students with practical knowledge across these core areas. Modules on momentum and collisions, rotational motion, and the universal law of gravity further augment the learner's comprehension of physics principles. Building on this knowledge, the text explores thermal physics, thermal processes, and the foundational laws of thermodynamics, thereby encompassing a comprehensive scope of subjects within the study of physics.Strategically developed to support online courses, College Physics, Part 1 serves as a beneficial resource for both undergraduate and entry-level graduate students who aim to grasp the fundamentals of physics and apply them to a variety of scientific and real-world problems.
