Liat Shklarski, Ph.D., LCSW is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She received her Ph.D. from Hunter College, New York, in 2019. Dr. Shklarski opened her private practice in New York City in 2014 and grew it into a group practice in 2020. This is her second book examining the development of mental health clinicians; her 2021 book, A Contemporary Approach to Clinical Supervision: The Supervisee Perspective, discusses effective supervision.
Maria Veronica Laguna, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and certified psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She works in private practice in New York City and is a faculty member of the Metropolitan Center for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
