Dr. Marilyn Reitz-Pustejovsky, a distinguished scholar and author, holds four degrees from the University of Houston, including a doctorate in Educational Psychology. She has contributed to the Journal for Social Distress and the Homeless and authored two children's books. Driven by her compassion for the homeless, evident in her unpublished dissertation, she recently penned a graduate-level book, Living Lives in Quiet Desperation, drawing from her previous research. Now 79, Marilyn resides in Bellaire, Texas, with her daughter and a rescued dog, continuing her commitment to advocacy and community service.
