Synopsis

Meditate on the sorrow of our Lord Jesus Christ and console Him in this time of turmoil

Can't you watch with me? As Jesus said to Peter in the garden of Gethsemane, Father Evaristus Eshiowu calls upon faithful Christians and members of the Catholic church, Christ's mystical body, to spare an hour to comfort and nurture Christ through pain and crisis. The fruit of Father Eshiowu's long-time devotion to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus, as revealed to him as a teenage boy in Nigeria, this book of supplementary adoration ministers to those who wish to make more time for devotion.

In this era of rising tribulation within the Catholic Church, Father Eshiowu offers practical meditations on the sufferings of Christ centered on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary for anyone looking to fulfill the request of an agonizing Lord. Compiled of prayers and reflections, the book allows readers to keep Christ's company anytime. It is an ideal companion for Catholics, and all faithful Christians, who are nurturing an appreciation for the sufferings of Jesus Christ and who want to offer Him consolation for the evil that plagues the modern world.
