About the Author

Luis A. Rivera is an author of Puerto Rican heritage. He attended film school before becoming a police officer in the well-known NYPD. Now retired, he spends much of his time indulging in his favorite hobbies and spending time with loved ones. His previous book, "The 52nd," a short memoir of his childhood and the ups and downs of his career. The book was published in early 2023. Rivera enjoys sharing his passion for the NYPD nostalgia with others.
