Synopsis

Immerse yourself in this collection of poetry and prose built for the functioning depressed, managing lonely, and surviving broken hearts. This is perfect for fans of Rupi Kaur and Michaela Angemeer.

'Because Someone Forgot to Love You' finds the real pieces of us that makes a heart beat and a relationship tick. Developed like a familiar, delicious recipe divided into ingredients, the poetry collection is separated into eight chapters: salt + vinegar, epsom salt + painkillers, milk + cookies, eucalyptus + library books, lavender + rosemary, museums + mausoleums, chocolates + bubbly, and honey bees + dandy lions, themselves describing the means needed to heal. 'Because Someone Forgot to Love You' delves into themes of abuse, trauma, growth, self-love, healing, parenthood, moving on, body image, eternal perspective, forgiveness, and what it truly means to love someone in spite of yourself. The poems dare to say 'You are this way because someone forgot to love you.'
