The pictures have thick lines and contrasting background that helps focus and fine motor skills. There is a section on each picture for children to say how they felt when doing the picture, helping them to recognise their emotions and encourage them to express them.
The pictures can be coloured in using a varity of mediums (the back is plain to allow for colour bleed) or used as a craft collage by gluing things such as pompoms, wool, string, stickers, foam stickers, googley eyes, pipe cleaners, magazine pictures, tissue, leaves, petals and more...
Each picture is plain backed so they can be cut from the book if wanted and displayed on the wall or fridge when finished.
Scribble pictures allow for free expression, exploration of colours and textures and imagination.
Colouring is a fun activity, by the use of thick lines and contrasting background it make our books accessible and inclusive for children who have special education needs.
At 8.5" x 11" the book is a good size allowing for a nice big picture that can be displayed proudly on fridges and walls or framed to give as a gift to Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, family and friends.
