Synopsis

Down The Russian Rabbit Hole, A Potemkin Village of Reps. Nunes, Ratcliffe & Sen. Johnson tells the story of the fabrication of the "Stop the Steal" fantasy of the U. S. 2020 election. Just as in 2016, Vladimir Putin, Dictator for Life of the Russian Federation, employed Russia's Military Intelligence Service (the "GRU") to boost his Boy, President Donald J. Trump over Democratic challenger, Joe Biden. Unlike 2016, The GRU and Russia's Internet Research Agency in Leningrad were unable to persuade sufficient U. S. voters through Russian Disinformation to reelect President Trump. Ironically, the Republican Party, formerly fiercely anti communist, aligned its interests with Putin's. Russia wanted Trump in the White House because he was indebted to the Russians and bound to perform as would any other Russian Asset.Republican Leadership in Congress and rank and file Republicans aligned with Russia's objective of reelecting President Trump. This unholy alliance strained U. S. Intelligence Services to the breaking point. The Executive Branch was at war with its own Intelligences services and with the Legislative Branch whenever controlled by Democrats. Donald Trump denigrated U. S. Intelligence Services in 2016 in retailiation for findings that Russia supported Trump over Hillary Clinton for President.
