The book uses large, legible fonts on white paper to ensure the book is easy to read and use. This activity book has been tailored specifically for those with dementia. It uses only Across (Left to right) and Down (Top to bottom) words, ensuring that those using it are given the best chance given their condition. Grids are 17 x 17, which should be usable for those with early-middle stage dementia, and provide a slight but not impossible challenge. It is also great for other seniors who are not suffering from dementia.

It is recommended that a schedule is developed with these activities, to provide further structure to the task. This may be one page a day, one each morning and night, or a number each day for consecutive days.
