Synopsis
Anno 1940, al preludio del secondo conflitto mondiale, l’inglese Chirstian Lancaster e lo scozzese Samuel Mclower, s’incontrano nel campo base alle porte di Londra.L’uno tragicamente ferito in un bombardamento, l’altro adibito a medico improvvisato, dopo aver studiato da farmacista.Nonostante il caos e la devastazione che la guerra porta con sé, ingoiando tutto e tutti, fra i due nasce un sentimento che, da passione, si trasforma in amore: il grande amore di una vita, quello che resiste nel tempo, superando ogni difficoltà, e che rende anche migliori.Divengono così temerari, impavidi, e con coraggio affrontano quella sorta di consapevolezza che nasce e cresce dentro le loro anime, perché è solo l’ipocrisia della Società a creare la diversità, l’amore abita nelle persone, non importa di che sesso siano.
