Synopsis
While searching for a birthday present for her niece, Liz Tylney finds the diary of a young woman from 1812 and reads of a mysterious jewel thief plaguing Bath society. The diarist relates her suspicions of a captain from Wellington’s army, but when she writes of travelling with him, through a time portal to the 21st century, Liz is convinced the diary is a hoax.
